Background
Invent Value is a web application that was running for 5 years with accumulating technical debt. The project begin when the owner reached out to me to add Machine Learning capabilities to their service. After I delivered an initial prototype service that leverages image classifier, we discussed several options to integrate it to their existing service. After discovering the enormous amount of technical debt that has accumulated over many years built with technologies that no-one likes to learn and touch, we decided it's time for the reboot.
Primary Contributions
Image classifier prototypes using both computer visions and ML algorithms.
Architectural planning for the technology stack
Nearly 100% of Front-End development work using Next.js, React, Canvas API, WebSocket, etc, and more.
Mentor and review PRs for the Back-End development work done by a team mate
Technical consulting and coordination between the U.S. and Thailand teams
